Insight Global is looking for a Product Designer to do end to end UX/UI design for a portfolio of work that supports a customer facing mobile application. Candidates need to be local to Basking Ridge, NJ or NYC, to work in a hybrid model. Candidates will be joining a Home Application team that supports Parental Controls features portfolio. The three areas of focus will be end to end product design for mobile features, supporting features while working crossfunctional with stakeholders understanding business requirements, and Figma work with a emphasis on building patterns and using components for the UI work. This is a consumer facing application, so candidates should understand the user and have experience designing applications that connect with a physical product consumers use. On a day to day basis, candidates will spend about 50% of their time designing, 25% of their time creating decks and working with stakeholders, and another 25% of their time concepting and innovating for future features of the Parental Controls portfolio. In this role candidates will work with a Principal Designer and be aligned to a track of work to help own the end to end design process. Candidates should be comfortable with prototyping, user research and testing, as well as understanding design limitations and designing in a set of parameters. It is important that candidates understand what it takes to launch a digital product to market and have experience to test and look at analytics related to the launch to then iterate design.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience as a product designer

Hands on with customer facing environments and digital products

Native mobile app design experience

Strong experience with Figma

Comfortable working within an enterprise design system

Knowledge of user research, information architecture, user testing and analytics/data

End to end full product design life cycle - seen product go to launch

Ability to present design finding and build decks based on design insights for stakeholder interactions

Portfolio with up to date, full process design work Ability to unify design components
