    Job Description

    Our client, a metro Atlanta public school system, is seeking a PowerSchool Business Analyst to support the Staff Development Department. This role combines business analysis with light project management and administrative responsibilities. The primary focus is on course creation and management within PowerSchool, ensuring smooth implementation of staff development programs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Create and configure courses in PowerSchool using pre-developed content.

     

    Maintain course structures, evaluation templates, and ensure compliance with district standards.

     

    Manage course updates, including adding/removing sections and adjusting timelines.

     

    Validate course functionality and troubleshoot issues related to course setup.

     

    Collaborate with HR/Staff Development leaders to align training initiatives with organizational goals.

     

    Assist in scheduling and managing evaluations for staff development programs.

     

    Support transition plans for course updates and communicate changes to stakeholders.

     

    Track timelines for course development and updates.

     

    Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of training materials.

     

    Document processes and maintain accurate records for audit and reporting purposes.

     

    Upload and organize content within PowerSchool; ensure proper formatting and accessibility.

     

    Work with tools like Camtasia for video integration (preferred but not required).

     

    Serve as a PowerSchool power user (not a system administrator).

    $40-$50/HR

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience; degree can be waived for extensive experience).

     

    Minimum 3+ years in a BA or administrative role, preferably in education or HR.

     

    Hands-on experience with PowerSchool (course creation and content integration).

     

    Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
