Job Description

We are seeking a Data Scientist – Pricing & Promotions to join our Advanced Analytics team. In this role, you will apply data science techniques to optimize pricing strategies, measure promotional effectiveness, and drive revenue growth. Additional responsibilities include:

• Leverage machine learning and statistical techniques to measure price elasticity, promotional effectiveness, and customer behavior.

• Work with large datasets in Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory, ensuring data integrity and efficient processing.

• Build and maintain automated pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and modeling.

• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards to communicate insights to business stakeholders.

• Partner with marketing, sales, and revenue management teams to translate data insights into actionable pricing and promotional strategies.

• Continuously evaluate and improve data models to ensure they align with business needs.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a data scientist

• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, PySpark

• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory for big data processing and automation.

• Experience in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development.

• Strong understanding of pricing analytics, price elasticity modeling, and promotional ROI measurement.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams. • Familiarity with time series forecasting and predictive modeling for pricing strategies.

• Knowledge of A/B testing and causal inference techniques for promotions analysis.
