    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a 1 year contract, possible extensions, possible conversion to perm, REMOTE Competitive Insights Analyst with a strong background in the life sciences industry, particularly within commercial operations, for $19-$30 an hour. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and interpreting competitor, market, and regulatory data to anticipate trends, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform pipeline planning, product launches, and commercial strategies.

     

    A glimpse into responsibilities for the role are as follows:

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor competitor activities, including pipeline developments, clinical trials, product launches, and strategic partnerships.

    • Conduct market assessments on disease areas, pricing trends, and patient demographics.

    • Track regulatory changes, patent expirations, and approval timelines impacting the portfolio.

    • Analyze large datasets and transform findings into clear, actionable intelligence reports for leadership.

    • Support scenario planning, lifecycle management, and strategic initiatives with data-driven insights.

    • Maintain CI tools and databases; ensure timely updates and accuracy of intelligence sources.

    • Present findings to senior stakeholders through dashboards, presentations, and written reports.

    • Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and commercial teams to align intelligence with business objectives.

    Skills and Requirements

    Must-haves

    • 5+ years of professional experience as a Competitive Intelligence Analyst for Life Sciences (either working directly in pharma or for a consulting company supporting pharma clients)

    • Strong understanding of drug development processes, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics.

    • Proficiency with CI platforms (e.g., EvaluatePharma, Cortellis), Excel, and data visualization tools.

    • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

    • Bachelor's degree Plusses
