Job Description
* Applies professional concepts to formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding.
* Gathers, analyzes and documents requirements and revises existing system logic issues.
* Generate and analyze sales and usage reports from internal database systems; Point of sales (POS) and Menu Management.
* Audits this data for presentation to directors. Helps to identifies trends and red flags.
* Provides micro analysis of food costs for all dining and retail locations.
* Set priorities and establish guidelines and procedures for database management.
* Manage day to day coordination of Menu Management and POS systems.
* Performs weekly analysis using systems database, reviewing variance and identifies anomalies.
* Investigates and analyzes abnormal activities and discrepancies.
* Works with operations in addressing anomalies and making adjustments and or corrections as needed.
* Maintains system and database files within established guidelines.
* Configure and customize the design of the system interface based on technical requirements and complexity of the operations.
* Revise existing systems logic issues against need.
* Program retail pricing and tax class in POS system to meet state and federal requirement.
* Manage user accounts, access level and rights for POS and menu database domain as it pertains to compliance.
* Controls all access points into Systems.
* Provides ongoing group and individual training on systems to include menu management, point of sales, food waste tracker meal plan system and BearBuy. Prepares training materials and necessary documents to ensure consistent application of standards and procedures.
* Serves as departmental liaison for campus online purchasing and payment system (BearBuy or BFS).

Skills and Requirements
* 3+ years of system coordination or system management experience
* Experience working with inventory management systems (ie. Culinary, equipment, computers, software, etc.)
* Experience working with financial system data or POS (point of sales)
* Experience with Google Suite and Excel
