    Dispatcher – Waterford, CT

    **Location:** 20 Rope Ferry Rd, Waterford, CT 06385

    **Pay Range:** $27 - $28.50 per hour

    As a **Dispatcher** , you're the heartbeat of our operations—coordinating routes, supporting our awesome drivers and monitors, and making sure students get to and from school safely.     What You’ll Do:

    Oversee daily bus routes and scheduling

    + Support, coach, and guide drivers and monitors

    + Manage radio and phone communication

    + Address scheduling issues and driver concerns

    + Serve as the main point of contact for our school district partners

    + Assist with payroll, charters, billing, and more

    + Step in with clerical support or as a backup driver when needed

    + Lead or assist with special projects

    What You’ll Need:

    3–5 years of relevant experience

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Familiarity with dispatch equipment and systems

    + Strong communication and customer service skills

    + Ability to stay calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines

    + Computer proficiency

    + Must pass DOT drug test and physical (Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, not permitted)
