    Job Summary

    Provides technical and logistics support to NIWC ATLANTIC Shore Submarine Communications System (SSCS) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, & Intelligence (C4I) Technical Support IPT.

     

    Travel is not required. Telework is not supported.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Responsible for the logistics of government components, supplies and equipment utilizing CMPRO for various Government Sites (CONUS / OCONUS) to ensure timely installation of equipment. Equipment and supplies are hand inventoried and managed within CMPro and/or other relative databases. Update various MIL and Program databases, trackers, processes. Work closely with team mates socializing statuses, procurement and spares inventory, bring innovation to newer tracking processes.

    • Manages material resources to ensure that sustainment and repairs of deployed systems is

     

    maintained at the highest level.

     

    • Assists with obsolescence and life cycle support tracking to ensure cradle to grave accountability of assets.

    • Provides oversight and inputs with the creation of Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to ensure project is executed in accordance with cost, schedule, and performance metrics.

    • Responsible for maintaining accuracy of government assets inventory using the WASP database system.

    • Responsible for monthly WASP data backups to ensure the Fleet Support Team has the accurate

     

    material available to respond to fleet CASREPS quickly and effectively.

     

    • Key point of contact for providing necessary inputs during meetings with government stakeholders, leaders, and external customers.

    • Responsible for maintaining pre-determined inventory levels of serialized assets and consumables using established usage data, technical input, and estimated repair/procurement lead times. This process enables the Fleet Support Team to pre-plan their site repair and installation visits.

    STF BASELINE RESUME

    • Develops, delegates and monitors daily tasks for the Contractor Warehouse Logistics Team to

     

    perform daily functions. These daily functions include Incoming Material from Vendors, Material

     

    Requests deliveries for the local Fleet Support Labs and Material Inventory Control in the warehouse.

     

    • Creates, submits, and processes procurement documentation for government P-Card purchases using the Scalable Workforce Automation Tool (SWAT).  Perform intakes in the Scalable Workforce Automation Tool (SWAT) creating accounts for new employees to receive NIWC Badges and Common Access Cards (CAC) and renewals for existing employees in addition to seating and movement requests.

     

    Qualifications and Skills

     

    Required knowledge and years of experience

     

    Must have at least six (6) years of experience. Experience with NIWC LANT Policies and Processes and CMPro familiarization is strongly advised.

    Education Requirements

    Must have a High School Diploma but a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
