Academic Strategy and Affairs (ASA) is dedicated to creating a leading-edge experience for all students, inside and outside the classroom, in person and online, at the UW and beyond. As part of the Office of the Provost, ASA is charged with providing oversight, fostering collaborations, piloting new ideas and defining strategic efforts to ensure broad and universal alignment of activities impacting students and faculty with the UW's goal of enhancing the student experience. A critical aspect of ASA's work is supporting faculty in instruction and student access, learning and success.
The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is an ASA division charged with advancing evidence-based teaching, learning, and mentoring at the University of Washington. The CTL is responsible for developing and delivering programs that advance learning and promote teaching excellence among faculty members, post-docs, and graduate students and staff in instructional roles. The CTL's work is deeply collaborative, engaging partners across the University, including Undergraduate Academic Affairs, Academic Technologies, the Graduate School, UW Libraries, the Office of Educational Assessment, the Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity, the Faculty Senate, and academic units. All CTL programs and services are driven by a commitment to enhancing student engagement and learning and supporting faculty in the development of a teaching practice that is inclusive, learner-centered, and effective across modalities.
In order to coordinate CTL's teaching and learning programs and communications, the person in this position must be able to:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the Associate Director, this position will manage the following:
Program planning and implementation: develop timely program planning for CTL’s and Teaching@UW’s annual and ongoing programs; create project timelines, and identify and delegate project assignments (to be reviewed in advance with the Director/Associate Director and coordinated with marketing needs); communicate with CTL and Teaching@UW Network staff about project needs and progress; design registration processes and systems; manage digital and in-person event spaces; manage coordination with vendors; manage event technologies; coordinate communication and processes related to stipends for collaborators
In coordination with the CTL director, collect, manage, and analyze CTL and Teaching@UW program assessments and data: Gather, organize, and visualize data across programs and platforms including registration trends, Teaching@UW web and LMS analytics, the service request form, and program feedback forms to better understand stakeholder needs and improve program effectiveness.
Manage program videos: record Zoom videos from Teaching@UW live events; edit videos for quality, consistency, and accessibility compliance; upload finished videos to the Teaching@UW YouTube channel

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Two years' professional experience
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
+ Demonstrated record of successful collaboration and project coordination
+ Excellent written, oral, and web communication addressed to multiple stakeholders
+ Experience with Zoom (or similar conferencing platform) and Google tools
+ Experience working and collaborating in a hybrid work environment
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Experience working in an educational environment
+ Experience with Wordpress, Canvas, Excel, and Slack
+ Experience with event registration software, such as Trumba
+ Experience communicating with faculty
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
+ Work in a collaborative, open office environment.
+ While the general working hours are within Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., this individual must be willing to adjust hours when necessary to accommodate the business needs and services of the office and as requested by their supervisor.
+ This individual must be available to support CTL events that will occur outside the normal work schedule.
Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
Pay Range Minimum:
$61,368.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum:
$70,704.00 annual
