    South County Medical Group is seeking to add a part-time physician nocturnist to our Hospitalist Program at South County Hospital (SCH). SCH is an 100-bed, non-trauma, community hospital located along the beautiful Rhode Island coast in picturesque Wakefield, overlooking the Point Judith Salt Pond. Our active Hospitalist Program was established in 2004 and consists of physicians, nurse practitioners and a physician assistant. We are a tight-knit group that is collegial, hard-working and welcoming.

     

    + Competitive and guaranteed salary

    + 10-hour (9p-7a) or 12-hour (7p-7a) shifts available, per provider preference

    + Minimum of 8 shifts/month

    + Average 4-5 admissions per shift

    + Open ICU with 24/7 intensivist support; ventilator management not required

    We have an excellent team-based approach to providing exceptional patient care. Candidates should have a BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and will need to be ACLS certified.
