Overview
ABM the nationally leading provider of Facility Services is seeking **Facilities Occupancy Planner** to join our facilities Management team. This role is responsible for analyzing space utilization, forecasting occupancy needs and developing workplace strategies that align with business goals. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient use of office space and support dynamic workforce needs.
**Pay: $50.00 hourly.** The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Key Responsibilities:
Occupancy Strategy & Planning
+ Develop and maintain occupancy plans for assigned buildings and campuses.
+ Analyze headcount forecasts and space utilization data to recommend effective space solutions.
+ Align occupancy strategies with organizational changes in partnership with HR, IT, and business units.
+ Collaborate with the Planning Lead on facility-related tasks and projects.
Move Coordination & Execution
+ Serve as the direct/primary point of contact for the Facility Planner.
+ Participate in all move planning activities (small, medium, large) with the MAC team.
+ Download planned seating/restack scenarios to MAC, finalize move sequences, and produce/share final move timelines with stakeholders (Facility Planner, PM, FM, CAD Administrator, etc.).
+ Improve move scheduling, communication, and alignment with internal and external business partners.
+ Communicate effectively with MAC, PMs, construction teams, and design teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
Data Management & Systems
+ Maintain accurate occupancy data in Tririga, including floor plans, furniture layouts, seat capacity, and seat status.
+ Partner with the CAD/BIM Manager to ensure Tririga floor plans are up to date.
+ Support the Applied Facility Planner in updating new hire activations in Tririga.
+ Conduct space audits and quarterly seat accuracy validations to meet KPI targets; partner with MAC for physical walk-throughs and provide training as needed.
Compliance & Safety
+ Ensure all occupancy planning activities comply with company standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
+ Support EHS initiatives, including fire extinguisher location planning.
Reporting & Communication
+ Prepare and present reports on space metrics and planning scenarios to leadership.
+ Maintain accurate records in CAFM/IWMS systems to support data-driven decision-making. Provide oversight to cross-functional partners engagement with the system
Qualifications & Skills:
+ Interior Design, Facilities Management, or related field.
+ 3+ years of experience in occupancy planning, space management, or workplace strategy.
+ Proficiency in space planning tools (e.g., AutoCAD, CAFM/IWMS systems).
+ Strong analytical and communication skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
