As the Production Control Specialist for the 2nd Shift, you will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. you will plan and schedule material/ production needs and be accountable for the quality of own work.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
+ Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and Key Performance Indicators
+ Optimize inventory and process improvements
+ Develop conceptual knowledge of professional discipline
+ Apply general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience
+ Resolve issues using established procedures
+ Consult supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters
+ Collaborate with others to solve issues
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a planning and/or supervisor role)
