Job Qualifications

The successful candidate will be child centered and will have responsibility for providing health care to students throughout the school day. They must have a strong knowledge of nursing principals, skills and techniques, have the ability to take initiative, remain calm in emergency situations, be of good moral character and have strong communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for medication administration per doctors’ orders, assessing illness and injuries and providing care accordingly, as well as responding to medical emergencies that occur within the building for students, staff and visitors. Must have current CPR certification.
