The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking full-time faculty members to primarily provide outpatient care and clinical teaching in the Geriatric Psychiatry program. This position requires experience and expertise in the treatment and management of geriatric psychiatry patients as well as experience in the supervision and mentorship of psychiatric trainees.
Applicants must have a medical degree or equivalent degree, completed training in General Psychiatry, possess or be fully eligible for a California medical license, be board-certified in General Psychiatry, and board-certified or eligible for board certification in Geriatric Psychiatry.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.

General Psychologist Range
Assistant Professor: $145,000 - $165,000
Associate Professor: $184,000 - $204,000
Full Professor: $238,000 - $278,000
General Psychiatrist Range
Assistant Professor: $238,000 - $250,000
Associate Professor: $260,000- $272,000
Full Professor: $290,000 - $350,000
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs. Stanford University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position.
