Summary:

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global aerospace leader to hire a **DevSecOps Software Engineer** who’s ready to drive the next era of software excellence in flight technology. In this **full-time, onsite role** , you’ll be at the center of a pioneering initiative integrating **CI/CD pipelines, AI tools, and secure development practices** —ensuring the highest standards of performance, safety, and innovation.

What You’ll Do:

As a DevSecOps Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, automating, and securing the software development lifecycle for safety-critical aerospace systems. Your work will directly impact how advanced software supports flight innovation, reliability, and compliance.

You will:

+ **Design, develop, and verify** software products to ensure quality, reliability, and security.

+ **Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines** to enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of mission-critical systems.

+ **Create and manage test environments** , replicating production conditions for software validation.

+ **Automate testing and verification** processes, leveraging modern frameworks (e.g., PyTest, JUnit, Selenium).

+ **Collaborate across disciplines** , integrating software with Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) systems for real-time testing.

+ **Implement containerization, configuration, and monitoring tools** such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Prometheus.

+ **Lead process improvements** , standardizing development workflows and performance metrics.

+ **Leverage AI tools** to enhance pipeline efficiency and testing capabilities.

+ **Identify and resolve software defects and vulnerabilities** , ensuring secure and stable deployments.

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree with **3+ years of software engineering experience** , or a Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.

+ Hands-on experience with **DevSecOps principles** , CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.

+ Strong knowledge of **version control (Git, GitLab, GitHub)** and **testing frameworks** .

+ Ability to work **fully onsite in Cambridge, MA** .

+ **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Proficiency with **Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD** .

+ Experience with **Ansible, Chef, or Puppet** for configuration management.

+ Familiarity with **monitoring tools** such as Prometheus or ELK Stack.

+ Exposure to **AI-driven development tools** and modern automation systems.

+ **Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.**

+ Experience in **aerospace, defense, or other safety-critical systems** environments.

**Pay Details:** $68.86 to $86.07 per hour
