    **Pay Rate:** $50.00 - $75.00 DOE

     

    Build the Next Generation of Aerospace Systems

     

    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled **Engineer – CAD CAM 3** to join our team, partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry. In this role, you’ll contribute to the design and development of advanced avionics and launch vehicle systems that shape the future of flight. You’ll work alongside talented engineers who are dedicated to innovation, precision, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

    What You’ll Do

    + Design and layout **Printed Wiring Boards (PWBs)** for aerospace and test applications.

    + Collaborate closely with circuit design and mechanical engineering teams to ensure form, fit, and function.

    + Communicate project progress to engineering management and support design milestones.

    + Participate in **peer reviews** and design reviews throughout the development process.

    + Prepare artwork (ODB++, Gerbers) for PWB fabrication and manage symbol and footprint libraries.

     

    What You’ll Bring

    Required Qualifications:

    + Minimum 5 years of recent PWB design layout experience using **Cadence Allegro** .

    + AA/AS degree or other 2-year post–high school training with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

    + Proven experience designing **high-density, multilayer boards (6–16 layers)** .

    + Proficiency in layout/routing of **digital, analog, and power circuits** , including **high-speed and controlled-impedance** designs (e.g., SERDES, DDR3/DDR4).

    + Experience with **rigid-flex assemblies** .

    + Understanding of **IPC-2221 and IPC-7351** standards.

    + **Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.** **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Knowledge of **Printed Wiring Assembly manufacturing processes** .

    + Experience with **CAM350** and/or **Valor DFM** tools.

    + Familiarity with **OrCAD Layout** and **Mentor PADS or Xpedition** tool suites.

    **Pay Details:** $47.66 per hour
