Summary
SecuriGence, LLC is seeking a **growth-focused Chief Operations Officer** to lead operational functions, including business development, capture management, sales, and customer account strategy within the federal IT services market. The COO will be responsible for developing and executing solution-first growth strategies, ensuring strong customer relationships, and aligning corporate resources to maximize business opportunities. This executive position requires a proven track record of leadership in federal contracting, with measurable success driving operational success, growth, and winning new business.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with President in setting and driving organizational vision, growth strategy, and advise on operational strategy.
+ Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, advising on organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning
+ Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members can thrive and that organizational goals are met
+ Ensure compliance with national and local business regulations, and take appropriate action when necessary
+ Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive corporate revenue growth across the federal IT services market.
+ Provide executive oversight of business development, capture management, and proposal operations.
+ Manage and grow the company’s pipeline of qualified opportunities to ensure consistent revenue growth and long-term sustainability.
+ Lead strategic account planning, relationship management, and customer engagement with federal agencies and prime contractors.
+ Partner with operations, program management, and finance to ensure revenue growth strategies align with corporate capabilities and compliance requirements.
+ Establish performance metrics for business development, capture, and sales teams, ensuring accountability and achievement of corporate growth goals.
+ Represent SecuriGence at industry events, conferences, and with federal customers to enhance visibility and brand positioning.
+ Collaborate with executive leadership to define long-term revenue goals, growth initiatives, and corporate investment strategies.
+ Provide mentorship, leadership, and performance management for the business development and capture teams.
+ Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations (FAR, DFARS) and company policies during all phases of the business development lifecycle.
+ Analyze internal operations and identify areas for enhancement and collaborate Vice President to implement.
+ Implement business strategies and plans that align with the short- and long-term objectives developed in tandem with President
+ Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
Qualifications
+ Master’s Degree in IT, Program Management, Business or a related field.
+ 20+ years leading technology modernization and enterprise operations both in the public and private sector.
+ Minimum of 10 years professional experience in federal contracting business development, capture, or revenue leadership.
+ Demonstrated history of achieving measurable revenue growth within the federal IT contracting sector.
+ Proven experience leading winning proposals exceeding $50M in contract value.
+ PMP and CISSP certifications preferred.
+ U.S. Citizenship (active or eligible Security Clearance preferred).
_Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_
+ Deep knowledge of federal procurement processes, acquisition regulations, and contracting vehicles.
+ Strong understanding of IT services markets, including cybersecurity, cloud, enterprise IT, and infrastructure.
+ Demonstrated leadership ability to build, scale, and mentor high-performing business development teams.
+ Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market intelligence into actionable business opportunities.
+ Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
+ Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to align growth initiatives with corporate strategy.
+ Commitment to ethical business practices and corporate integrity.
