    We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused IT Help Desk Technician to join our Orlando headquarters. Reporting directly to the IT Systems Administrator, this role is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support for approximately 75 users, maintaining inventory and equipment, managing tickets, and ensuring a seamless technology experience across the organization. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to handle both technical and hands-on operational tasks—including office support duties such as hardware setup, vendor coordination, and local errand-based procurement.

With offices in Orlando and Belfast, North Ireland, we are expanding rapidly and looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team. Primary Job Responsibilities:

     

    + Provide on-site technical support to employees in the Orlando office, ensuring timely resolution of help desk tickets and meeting SLA targets.

    + Manage user onboarding and offboarding processes including account setup, hardware provisioning, access management, and technology orientation.

    + Support the configuration and maintenance of workstations, laptops, peripherals, printers, and network devices.

    + Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues, escalating to the IT Systems Admin when necessary.

    + Monitor and maintain the company’s IT asset inventory, conducting regular audits and managing RMAs or warranty claims.

    + Support meeting room and AV technology, including Zoom Rooms and other conferencing tools.

    + Assist with network and infrastructure troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, VLANs, etc.).

    + Collaborate with the IT Systems Admin to deploy and maintain Microsoft 365, OneDrive, JumpCloud, and related identity management systems.

    + Provide on-site support for office operations, including basic facility tech setup and local errands such as hardware pickups or supply replenishment.

    + Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), contributing to the internal IT knowledge base.

    + Lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs and perform cable management or rack installations as needed.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science preferred.

    + 1–3 years of help desk or technical support experience in a corporate environment.

    + Experience using ticketing systems and managing customer requests in a structured support workflow.

    + Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation.

    Core Technical Competencies:

    + Operating Systems: Windows/macOS administration.

    + Cloud & Identity Management: Microsoft 365, OneDrive, JumpCloud (user/group management, MDM).

    + Security & Access: Password management, MFA/2FA setup, account lockouts, security best practices.

    + Hardware Troubleshooting: Laptops, monitors, peripherals, printers, Ethernet cabling (RJ45, keystones).

    + AV Systems: Zoom Rooms and conference room technology.

    + Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, basic UniFi/Ubiquiti familiarity, VLAN fundamentals.

    + Soft Skills: Excellent communication, customer service orientation, strong problem-solving ability, and professionalism.
