    Job Summary:

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving manufacturing processes, enhancing product quality, and ensuring operational efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual looking to contribute to our team and make an impact in a dynamic environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

     

    - Develop and implement engineering solutions for heavy structural fabrication and machining.

     

    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality assurance, and production, to ensure seamless project execution.

     

    - Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement corrective actions.

     

    - Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to identify areas for continuous improvement.

     

    - Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and quality control standards.

     

    - Assist in the design and development of manufacturing tools and fixtures.

     

    - Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in manufacturing processes.

     

    - Train and mentor manufacturing staff on new processes, tools, and best practices.

     

    - Analyze production data and provide reporting on key metrics such as efficiency, quality, and production costs.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

     

    - 5 to 7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role within the heavy structural fabrication and machining industry.

     

    - Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, welding, and assembly.

     

    - Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.

     

    - Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

     

    - Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.

     

    - Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

     

    - Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in safety and quality assurance.

    Summary Pay Range:

    $87,456.00 - 131,184.00

     

    Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.

     

    Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
