Pay Range-$37.72*+

Job Summary:

A Graduate Nurse in the Mental Health Department provides comprehensive emotional and physical care to adult and geriatric patients within an inpatient setting. Working with a strong interdisciplinary team, you will deliver specialized, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation). You will effectively communicate with patients and team members to facilitate optimal patient outcomes, establish priorities for nursing action based on patient needs, and perform continuous assessments to revise care plans accordingly.

Qualifications

+ Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing.

+ Licensure:

+ Submittal of application for Licensure and Limited Permit is required.

+ Paid required fees must be completed.

+ Valid New York State RN License is required within one year of receiving the limited permit.

+ Certification: BLS certification is required.

+ Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, standing, walking, and lifting.
