    Position Summary...

     

    As a Manager of Special Ops within Walmart’s Last Mile Delivery (LMD) organization, you will play a critical role in driving network-wide excellence by leveraging your natural curiosity and inventive problem-solving talents to anticipate the needs of our customers and drivers. At Special Ops, you will be responsible for the launch, growth, and performance of LMD for Sam’s Club and External Clients (GoLocal). This role bridges strategic vision and operational execution, translating long-term goals into measurable outcomes, optimizing processes for efficiency and consistency, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver a seamless and reliable customer experience.

     

    Last Mile Delivery works on fulfilling customer demand for everything in the store at the comfort of the home.     What you'll do...

    What You’ll Do:

    + Ensuring business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives for our Sam’s Club and External Client (GoLocal) customers

    + Managing the development and improvement of new and existing operational tools, reports, and customer-facing functionality by providing direction and input on business and functional requirements

    + Cross-functional collaboration to improve Spark driver engagement by partnering with product management, merchandising, engineering, and other groups to drive projects

    + Translating data analysis into recommendations aligned with business objectives to meet business goals

    + Resolving on field escalations with regards to driver supply and metrics performance

    + Directing the execution of projects, work streams, and programs by managing and modifying associated project plans

    + Building engagement initiatives to ensure Spark is the platform of choice for delivery driver

    What You’ll Bring

    + You have experience in Field Ops/Last Mile Delivery/Process Design/Project Management

    + You have a deep knowledge of the gig industry and the marketplace economy

    + Proven experience executing business plans and managing day-to-day operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

    + Strong ability to work with data, identify trends, and use insights to drive operational improvements.

    + Demonstrated capability in streamlining processes, eliminating inefficiencies, and building scalable frameworks.

    + You’re comfortable influencing others, leading teams, managing stakeholders, getting buy-in from leadership, and communicating clearly

    + High sense of ownership, bias for action, and strong attention to detail in managing multiple priorities.

    + Clear and persuasive communicator who can collaborate effectively across teams and build alignment around shared goals.

    The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
