PeaceHealth is seeking a CNA – Cardiology for a Part Time, 0.6 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $23.03 – $34.59, dependent upon terms of collective bargaining agreement

Your Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you’ll support our nursing team in delivering compassionate, high-quality care. You’ll perform both direct and indirect patient care tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
+ Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, eating, and hydration
+ Take and record vital signs, measure fluid intake/output, apply dressings
+ Support patient mobility: walking, exercising, transferring in/out of bed
+ Maintain supplies and stock patient rooms
+ Document patient care data accurately
+ Provide clerical support: order entry, chart processing, answering phones
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
+ Completion of an accredited CNA program
Experience:
+ Preferred: 1+ year in an acute care setting
+ Required: Demonstrated ability to apply age-specific care principles
Credentials:
+ CNA (Washington) - required
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) – required upon hire
Skills:
+ Compassionate and courteous communication
+ Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
+ Basic computer and clerical skills
Working Conditions
+ Frequent bending, lifting (up to 35 lbs. patient handling), pushing/pulling (up to 45 lbs.)
+ Exposure to biohazards and noisy environments
+ Visual and auditory acuity required (aids permitted)
+ Ability to perform CPR and other physical tasks as needed
