What you'll do...
+ Feasibility Development and/or Program Launch for new vehicles in support of SQDCME objectives
+ Support minor launch and current production programs
+ Design and Develop Paint Tooling for new vehicles
+ Provide paint expertise to other Subsystems including Product Development, Assembly Plants and Paint Forward Model
+ Perform Assembly Plant Health Assessments with resolution follow up including monitoring QOS/Control Plan items
+ Utilize DMAIC work methods to improve cost/quality of vehicle lines
+ Work with Assembly Plants to improve cost/quality
+ Manage GSPAS processes and all MCR/CR actions
+ Implement robust designs per Paint SDS/MDS and Lessons Learned
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Minimum Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline
+ 10+ years' experience in Paint Process & Facilities
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Assembly Plant experience preferred, but not required
+ Knowledge of the GPDS Design/Launch timing
+ Minimum Greenbelt certified w/demonstrated problem solving skills
+ Knowledge Microsoft Office Toolset
+ Ability to travel extensively
+ Strong Communication & Presentation Skills
+ Requires frequent reporting to Senior Management on Program
+ Ability to work and show leadership under high stress levels and within team environment.
+ Self motivated with forward thinking
