    Responsibilities

    Position Overview:

    The Project Manager (PM) is accountable for the project management, construction management and engineering services to enable company goals in all our manufacturing facilities. This includes evaluating systems and infrastructure to evaluate opportunities and develop plans to meet long range company objectives. This position will be responsible for supporting, implementing, and maintaining employee and food safety standards and practice in design, implementation of new assets and completing job duties in a manner that supports all plant safety, food safety, quality, and environmental practices.

    Accountabilities:

    + Provide recommendations to Senior team members within the engineering and technical services area of expertise to all departments.

    + Manage multiple assigned engineering and or technical service projects establishing headcount, budgets, scheduling, equipment, and materials.

    + Control project schedule, costs, and quality via project management skills.

    + Select and manage materials and equipment suppliers and vendors.

    + Prepare reports: expenditure requests, cash flow forecasts, monthly reports, etc.

    + Prepare evaluation of new and existing facilities, technologies, and systems.

    + Specify and design site development, facilities, processing, packaging, and utility systems.

    + Maintain an up-to-date awareness of Federal, State, and Local engineering codes and regulations.

    + Manage construction management and start-up management processes and procedures.

    + Review ergonomics, safety requirements and sanitation/GMP/food safety aspects of assigned projects and provide recommendations for improvement.

    + Ensure safe and orderly jobsite and provide recommendations for improvement.

    + Participate and be a dynamic member of the engineering department to foster teamwork and provide excellent customer service.

    + Provide training and educational services to all departments when applicable.

    + Conduct discussions internal customers to obtain input and communicate project plans.

    + Provide data and Influence internal partners on projects/ initiatives that need implementation for business growth.

    + Identify and implement cost savings projects that improve and grow our business.

    Qualifications

    Education Level:

    + Bachelor’s Degree required in Engineering (or related filed) or equivalent work experience.

    Experience:

    + Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Project Management, process or facility design, and contractor management in process environment.

    + Working knowledge of project management processes and construction means, methods, and standards is required.

    + Proven management experience of projects and/or capital budgets up to $1 million.

    + Experience with engineering disciplines, construction disciplines, as well as manufacturing processes and plant operations.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    + Ability to manager project team to successful development of project scope and implementation of project.

    + Ability to work and collaboratively and cohesively with company peers and Post Holdings partners.

    + Strong interpersonal skills - Listening and informing others effectively; excellent negotiating and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external.

    + Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction. Must be a self-motivated self-starter.
