Event Security Officer – Professional Conference (temporary position)

Global Elite Group, a leader in providing world-class security services, is hiring Event Security Officers for a high-profile professional conference in November. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking temporary Security Guard or Unarmed Security Guard work in an exciting, fast-paced environment while ensuring the safety, security, and overall experience of guests, staff, and participants.

Event Details:

Dates: Wed. Dec. 10, 2025- Mon. Dec. 15, 2025 (must be available for at least 3 days during this period)

Shifts: 10-14 hours, scheduled between 12:00 am and 12:00 am (flexible within the timeframe)

Responsibilities:

+ Provide a strong security guard presence throughout event grounds, including entry points, hospitality areas, and restricted zones

+ Perform access control and credential checks to ensure only authorized individuals enter secured areas

+ Monitor crowd flow, assist guests with directions, and maintain a professional, safe environment

+ Respond quickly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies

+ Collaborate with fellow security officers, event organizers, and local law enforcement

+ Deliver excellent customer service while upholding high standards of security and professionalism

Qualifications

Qualifications :

+ Must have a valid NYS Security Guard License at time of hire

+ Prior security officer, event security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred (not required)

+ Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

+ Professional demeanor, able to stay calm under pressure

+ Must be at least 18 years old and pass all background screening requirements

+ Must attend required training prior to the event
