We are seeking an experienced Life Insurance Project Manager/Product Owner to lead strategic initiatives and manage the successful delivery of projects within the Life Insurance domain. This dual-role position combines strategic program management with tactical product ownership, requiring a professional who can balance high-level planning with hands-on execution to drive business outcomes and deliver customer value.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Project Leadership (Project Manager Responsibilities)

+ Program Alignment: Ensure all projects and product initiatives are aligned with the overall Life Insurance business strategy, such as launching new digital platforms or enhancing existing product offerings.

+ Dependency Management: Identify, track, and manage interdependencies across product teams, business functions, and shared services including Marketing, Underwriting, Legal, and IT.

+ Governance and Reporting: Develop and maintain integrated program plans, manage project budgets, and provide executive-level reporting on project health, risks, and key milestones.

+ Stakeholder Coordination: Lead stakeholder meetings and working groups, driving decision-making, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment across multiple business priorities.

Tactical Product Execution (Product Owner Responsibilities)

+ Backlog Management: Own and manage the prioritized backlog for assigned product streams across the Life Insurance product lifecycle, including features, epics, and user stories related to quoting, application, and new business processes.

+ Feature Definition: Translate strategic requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria that development teams can execute effectively.

+ Agile Collaboration: Act as the key decision-maker for feature scope, participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and demos, and provide clarity to ensure smooth delivery.

+ Value Delivery: Review and approve product increments at the end of each iteration, ensuring every release delivers measurable customer and business value aligned with program goals.
