Position Summary:
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for assisting Payroll Administrator in processing multi-state U.S. payroll for 300+ employees and international payrolls for Canada, Australia and Netherlands. Payroll is processed in the US by ADP on a biweekly basis and comprises primarily of salaried employees. International payrolls are processed through Celergo (a division of ADP). Strong sense of urgency, accuracy, and confidentiality are required.
*This is a remote position and candidates are ideally located in the PST, MST, or CST time zones.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist with processing bi-weekly multi-state payroll (approx. 45 states) from beginning to end for approximately 300 U.S employees.
+ Process international payrolls for Canada and Netherlands
+ Enter all payroll employee changes: pay rates, addresses, benefit plans, etc.
+ Handle payroll related inquiries from employees.
+ Assist in monthly, quarterly and year-end tax reporting, including W-2’s and 1095’s.
+ Ensure PTO balances are complete and accurate.
+ Review and/or prepare service tickets with Fidelity for 401K updates
+ Complete employment verification requests.
+ Backup and assistance Payroll Administrator.
+ Assist with other accounting tasks.
+ Additional job functions may be required as we continue to grow and evolve
Qualifications:
+ Minimum 1-2 years of progressive multi-state payroll processing experience
+ Self-starter and self-motivator
+ Able to work in a remote environment independently
+ Certification and/or Associates Degree preferred
+ General accounting knowledge and experience in payroll is ideal
+ Intermediate Excel skills required including Formulars, Pivot Table's, VLOOKUP's.
+ Ability to work in a confidential setting
+ Attention to detail with the highest degree of accuracy
+ Adaptable to change and ability to learn new skills.
+ Prior ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
