Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join the Board and Box Ground Support Equipment Software team\.
In this role, you will launch your software career developing critical software to test flight hardware for multiple spacecraft and missile programs\.
Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities\. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment\. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle\. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software\. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls\. Ensures software standards are met\.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of developing software using Python\.
Basic Qualifications:
\- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline\.
\- Experience developing software using Python
• Must be a US Citizen\. This position is located at a facility that requires special access\.
Desired Skills:
\- Understanding of electronics standards and processes
\- Experience with Linux
\- Strong problem solving skills
\- Experience with test scripts
\- Experience developing tests based on requirements
\- Familiar with serial communication protocols such as UART, CAN, I2C, SPI, MIL\-STD\-1553, etc\.
\- Experience in hardware/software integration, and troubleshooting
\- Familiarity with agile software development life\-cycle
\- Familiarity with software configuration management tools such as Git
\- Experience with using laboratory test equipment, such as chart recorders, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, digital multimeters
\- Experience programming FPGAs with LabVIEW
\- Experience with SysML and Model Based Engineering tools like CAMEO

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 9x80 every other Friday off
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $62,700 \- $110,630\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\.

Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\.
This position is incentive plan eligible\.
