    Introduction

     

    Your role and responsibilities

    Software Developer, IBM Corporation, San Jose, CA (Up to 40% telecommuting permitted):

    * Maintain components of the DataStage Quality Stage suite, such as Rulesets service.

    * Maintain lifecycle management for DataStage assets, including creating, indexing, deleting, updating, exporting, and importing assets.

    * Manage and monitor DataStage DataSet and FileSet, including schema description, data viewing, truncation, and deletion.

    * Implement new features for remote engine support to ensure efficient functionality.

    * Implement resource broker for data integration products on MCSP.

    * Enhance data browsing capabilities to support browsing and previewing various data file formats.

    * Support the test framework compatibility across different storage platforms, including GCS, Azure, and cloud object storage.

    * Contribute to runtime, flows, migration, and cloud components to ensure usability and feature completeness based on on-premises systems.

    * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to ensure alignment with business requirements and performance goals.

    * Evaluate and select technologies and tools to meet project requirements, ensuring seamless integration and interaction with other systems.

    * Utilize: Java, C++, Shell, AWS, Microsoft Azure, RedHat OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Git, Jenkins, Hadoop, HBase.

     

    Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic/Communications Engineering, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Developer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Java, C++, Shell, AWS, Microsoft Azure, RedHat OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, MySQL, GIT, Jenkins, Hadoop, HBase. $264514 to $290157 per year. Full time. AV204.
