Job Description:

If you’re a Carpenter Journeyman looking for a challenge, then Parson’s has a challenge for you.

***The Carpenter Journeyman must be willing to go to Kwajalein atoll, Marshall Islands worksite on a Long-Term Assignment Agreement.

Carpenter Journeyman Duties and Responsibilities

+ Measuring timber and building materials

+ Joining and cutting wood or other materials used in construction

+ Installing cabinetry and flooring

+ Framing windows, doors, closets and other structures

+ Concrete Forms

+ Welding a plus

+ Reading building plans for carpentry specifications

+ Using power tools to prepare masonry, lumber and concrete for carpentry builds and installations

+ Following Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines

+ Demolishing fixtures for remodeling

+ Creating foundational structures

+ Supervising carpenter apprentices and laborers

Carpenter Journeyman Requirements and Qualifications

+ Typically has 10+ years of construction experience, including experience in a leadership or supervisory position

+ Detailed knowledge of construction procedures and OSHA guidelines

+ Experience with blueprint reading, carpentry finishing, and managing crews

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills

+ Current US Passport

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $151,700.00
