**Schedule:** One weekend day required with a weekday off; primarily first/second shift hours
**Work Location:** 20-01 Broadway, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410

**Salary, based on experience and other qualifications:** $73,000 - $124,000 annually with additional bonus potential.
Roles & Responsibilities:
+ Food Safety: Must comply with all GMPs, SQF requirements, and other Food Safety related items as deemed necessary by the company
+ Ensure that all direct reports comply with all Company Food Safety Policies and federal regulations.
+ Must be able to maintenance compliance with all Plant Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations in accordance with Company Best Practices, Policies, and required government regulations.
+ Ensure that all direct reports also comply with all Safety requirements in accordance with Company Policies and Government regulations.
+ Provides input in department and program development; fosters Continuous Improvement and team environment; facility advocate for Food Safety and Quality; monitor and implement policies, programs, rules and regulations for compliance.
+ Trouble shoots and problem solves as needed.
+ Assesses QA programs’ efficacy; coordinates and administers QA programs and workflow.
+ Investigates consumer/customer complaints and develops response and corrective actions
+ Supervise hourly Associates and Team Leaders/Coordinators to ensure that an efficient and effective workflow is created on a day-to-day basis.
+ Oversee QA lead/lab tech daily functions as well as develops the work schedule for all technicians.
+ In the absence of the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Manager or Quality Lead covers his/her responsibilities.

Qualifications & Experience:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science or related field required.
+ Proficient and effective use of communication and Microsoft Office.
+ Manufacturing and Food Industry Experience preferred.
+ Food Processing related certification is a plus.
+ Must be highly organized and work well under pressure. Must be able to work independently, as well as under supervision.
+ Must be able to work effectively with others, have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
+ Must be willing to accept responsibility and to show good judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness.
+ Is cross functional in all areas of department, trouble shoot and corrects issues.
+ Works with facility leadership and Corporate FS&Q to execute the plants required FS&Q employee training program.
+ Develop team member skill sets by conducting evaluations and recommending development opportunities by continuing education, seminars, trade shows and other methods.
+ Must be a strong advocate of compliance, an experienced trainer, and an accomplished supervisor of technical resources with a proven record in building and motivating successful FS&Q efforts.
+ Required in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and their interpretation such as Current Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, Risked-based Preventative Controls, Stability Guidelines, Sanitation practices and Sanitary Design as it relates to food manufacturing.
+ Must possess sound reasoning ability, analytical, and creative skills to investigate problems in order to recommend and implement solutions.
+ Efficient computer skills; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint are required. Familiarity with wed-based programs is preferred including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Power Point and Access) along with SAP, Infinity-QS and Tracegains.
