As a CBRE Mobile Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of their facilities and equipment. About the Role:
As a CBRE Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive preventive maintenance and corrective repairs for buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. This role requires a proactive and skilled individual to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our client's assets.
This position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, where you'll be instrumental in supporting, maintaining, and repairing essential equipment and systems.
What You'll Do:
+ Comprehensive Maintenance: Oversee maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
+ Work Order Management: Review assigned work orders, accurately estimate time and material requirements, and maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and tools.
+ Preventive Maintenance Programs: Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of building machinery and systems; oversee repairs and emergency maintenance as needed.
+ Inspection & Optimization: Conduct inspections of building and industrial systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, to ensure equipment operates within design capabilities and achieves the client's prescribed environmental conditions.
+ Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
+ Mobile Operations: Operate company-issued vehicles in the safe and efficient execution of daily work responsibilities.
+ Technical Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
+ Mentorship & Collaboration: Coach others, share in-depth knowledge of your job discipline, and contribute broad knowledge of related disciplines within the function.
+ Leadership & Influence: Lead by example, model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and build consensus to reach agreements.
+ Impact & Collaboration: Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your team and other related teams.
+ Autonomy & Guidance: Work within broad guidelines and policies, exercising independent judgment while understanding the overall objectives.
+ Communication: Effectively explain difficult or sensitive information to various stakeholders.
What You'll Need:
+ Education & Experience: High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Certifications & Licenses: Universal CFC certification and a valid Driver’s License are required.
+ Preferred Experience: Prior shift manager or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
+ Physical Requirements: Meet the physical demands of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to exercise sound judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
+ Innovation & Adaptability: Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions and contribute to continuous improvement.
+ Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Organizational Skills & Advanced Curiosity: Strong organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
