About The Role
As a CBRE IM Digital and Technology Product Intern, you will assist with handling sophisticated technology platforms throughout their product life cycle. You will work closely with Product Managers and Product Owners to support their business segments, product domains, and individual applications across the investment management value chain. You will also learn about the businesses and translate their requirements into technical roadmaps for delivery.
This role falls under the Product Management job function. They plan, build, and implement of products and product extensions during all life cycle stages.

+ A 10 - week, full-time, paid, internship with a potential opportunity to join the organization for a full-time role after graduation!
+ You will network with CBRE IM leaders, as well as those within the larger CBRE organization.
+ You will learn from the best through a series of executive webinars with top company leaders
+ You will be included in team meetings, gaining the inside scoop of how our high performing teams achieve results
+ We will host social events and allow you to network with your fellow interns
+ Present a capstone project at the end of the summer to showcase your work and abilities
What you’ll do
+ Form relationships with key users and customers to better understand their business and decompose them into user stories.
+ Assist in the development of sophisticated products and projects by writing use cases and high-level requirements for internal teams.
+ Assist with the management of technology products through the entire product development life cycle.
+ Support in the refinement and prioritizing of product backlog while working in collaboration with a line of business partners and a scrum team.
+ Troubleshoot and call out product issues and client requests.
+ Contribute to training and education in subject matter areas including demos and supporting release notes.
+ Work with the customers to identify and plan for dependencies, fill product gaps, and research opportunities.
+ Develop artifacts, documents, & presentations to clearly articulate product & project requirements, status, updates, & project plans.
What you’ll need
+ Currently a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
+ Currently pursuing an undergraduate or masters’ degree with a graduation date of December 2026 – June 2027
+ Seeking a degree in Business/Finance, engineering, science majors preferred, but all majors can be considered
+ Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Experience with AI platforms & project planning tools are a plus. Examples include ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, etc. as well as JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, Smartsheet, etc.
+ Strong organizational & analytical abilities with an inquisitive demeanor.
