    Food Service Coordinator – St. Joseph’s Hospital & Children’s Hospital (Full Time)

     

    **Location:** Tampa, FL | **Facility:** BayCare Health System, Food & Nutrition Services-SJH

    **Schedule:** Full Time | **Shift:** Varies (8.5-hour shifts, every other weekend) | **Remote:** Never

    What You’ll Be Doing:

    As a **Food Service Coordinator** , you’ll keep our food service operations running smoothly across patient dining, cafeteria service, and catering. You’ll coordinate day-to-day activities, ensure quality and safety standards are met, and take action when things need adjusting. You’ll also have the opportunity to:

     

    + Oversee preparation, distribution, and service of meals

    + Maintain quality control and take corrective measures when needed

    + Support team member functions like interviewing, training, coaching, and scheduling

    + Lead orientation, competency assessments, and continuous improvement efforts

    + Help ensure a secure and efficient operation for patients, guests, and staff

    What We’re Looking For:

    Education:

    + High school diploma or GED required

    Experience:

    + Prior food service experience required

    + Experience in a coordinator or leadership role preferred

    Certification:

    + ServSafe Manager Food Safety Certification required within 1 year of hire
