    + ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Provides developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care respective to the assigned patient populations.

    + Participates in assigned educational activities.

    + May provide more sophisticated clinical treatments for assigned patients while assisting the RN and under that RN’s direct observation and supervision.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    + Student Nurse Externs must be available to work full-time during the 10-week program.

    + LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

    + CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.

    + MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    + Must be currently enrolled in an Associates, Diploma, or Bachelors of Science Nursing program, with completion of at least two semesters of clinical rotation.

    + WORKING CONDITIONS

    + Normal office and patient care environments with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Occasional exposure to communicable diseases.
