Our client, manufacturing industry leader, is seeking an Assembly Technician I to join their team. As an Assembly Technician I, you will be part of the production support team, supporting high-quality electronic and mechanical product assembly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Assembly Technician I
**Pay Range:** $19-$21/hr
**Shift:** 2nd Shift
What's the Job?
+ Assemble furniture or product components according to instructions or diagrams.
+ Use basic hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, drills, wrenches) safely and effectively.
+ Inspect parts for defects and ensure proper fit and finish.
+ Follow production schedules and meet daily assembly goals.
+ Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipping or storage.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
What's Needed?
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred
+ Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude
+ Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
+ Ability to support team efforts and adapt to a manufacturing environment
