    Our client, a leader in the Automotive and engineering sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical Writer 1 to join their dynamic team. As a vital part of the Documentation Department supporting technical teams, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring the creation of clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation.

     

    **Job Title:** Technical Writer 1

    **Location:** Clawson, MI

    **Pay Range:** $25-$27 per hour

     

    Shift:** **M-F 6am-3pm

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + This position is responsible for creating time studies for published mechanical service procedures.

    + Apply automotive knowledge and utilize multiple source files in order to identify appropriate content for use in publications

    + Support Labor Time Guide impacted special projects.

    + Support meetings as required

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + BS Degree in Automotive Technology or equivalent technical experience.

    + **3-5 years of automotive technician experience is preferred.**

    + Writing services information, they could still be in consideration for the position.

    + looking for someone who has heavy tech experience compared to light tech.

    + Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
