SUMMARY

Responsible for the minor setup adjustments, quality checks and operation of envelope machines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Perform minor setup on machines in a timely manner. Clean the machine prior to setup.

+ Make minor adjustments/ corrections to ensure dimensions and quality of piece; monitor production.

+ Perform cutting operations; make necessary minor adjustments.

+ Perform folder operations and operate folder.

+ Perform quality checks per work instructions.

+ Hand-gather finished work and pack as necessary.

+ Perform other department operations as required.

+ Keep the immediate work area neat and orderly.

+ Comply with company rules and regulations.

+ Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data.

+ Implement a commitment to quality philosophy and recommend methods and procedures to reduce cost and/or improve the operating efficiency of the department.

+ Keep the manager/supervisor informed of activities and situations that will impact the achievement of corporate or department goals and objectives.

+ Perform other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED.

COMPETENCIES

+ Thorough understanding of envelope manufacturing equipment setup and operation.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor machine repairs.

+ Ability to apply written instructions to machine operation and product quality.

+ Good math skills

+ Reliability through attendance, punctuality, and attention to the workstation

+ Demonstrates a positive safety attitude
