    As a **Security Officer - Armed Patrol** in **Paducah, KY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves regular patrols, engaging with individuals on-site, and providing outstanding customer service and communication.     What You'll Do:

    + Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies at a government location, providing customer service to all visitors and employees.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgment and communication skills.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter as an armed security professional, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintain order.

    + Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings promptly to the appropriate personnel.

    + Assist with access control duties, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals as required by site policies.

    + Participate in emergency response activities as directed, contributing to the overall security-related efforts at the location.

    + Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

    + Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while representing Allied Universal at the site.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Be at least 21 years of age.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

    + An armed guard card or license is preferred.
