As a **Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Driver** in **Waterloo, IA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle and/or on foot, engaging with clients and visitors in a professional manner. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. The working environment may involve manufacturing and industrial settings and may vary by site.

+ Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity encountered during patrols to Allied Universal and/or site management as required.

+ Assist with access control, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access within the location.

+ Support emergency response protocols and assist in coordinating with local authorities or site personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
