As a **Security Officer - Armed Patrol - Shopping Center** in **El Campo, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.

+ Monitor for suspicious activity or unauthorized individuals, reporting observations according to site policies.

+ Maintain detailed records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by the post assignment.

+ Carry and responsibly operate assigned firearms in alignment with Allied Universal protocols and all local regulations.

+ Communicate with site management and/or law enforcement as needed while upholding professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

+ Assist customers, visitors, and store staff with security-related inquiries, directions, or requests for assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess an active armed guard card or license, or be able to obtain one if required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
