As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a retail or mall location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for guests and tenants. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, remain visible to support a secure environment, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication and professionalism. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times within the retail or mall environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols inside the location and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to appropriate personnel.

+ Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site representatives to address security-related matters and uphold site policies and guidelines.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and providing information or assistance to visitors and tenants as needed.

+ Remain alert to changes in the environment and be prepared to assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations or medical situations, according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A valid guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
