As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing professional customer service to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the location for any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.

+ Document incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and/or response to incidents.

+ Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters.

+ Support retail staff and visitors by addressing questions, providing directions, and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Adhere to all company and client policies, as well as legal regulations regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas roles.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
