• Software Test Engineer

As part of the OpenSpace Test team, the Software Test Engineer will support test activities within the development organization. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

     

    + Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and executes system tests

    + Assists with troubleshooting problems within the test environment

    + Installs and configures software within the test environment

    + Records and correlates test data with associated requirements and work items in our software quality systems

    Required Experience:

    + Scripting/Coding using Bash, Python, etc.

    + General knowledge with Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher

    + Build pipeline automation and packaging using tools such as Bamboo and Artifactory

    + General cloud knowledge with AWS and Azure

    + Basic understanding of VLANs, firewalls (iptables), switching (trunk/access), tunneling and air-gapping

    + Familiarity with working in a SAFe Agile environment using Atlassian suite of tools such as Jira and Confluence or other similar collaboration tools

    Preferred Skills and Experience

    + Build pipeline automation using tools such as Atlassian Bamboo or Azure DevOps, Atlassian Bitbucket or GitHub or GitLab and JFrog Artifactory

    + Expert knowledge with Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher

    + Experience developing/conducting tests related to scalability and performance and addressing found issues

    + Expert cloud knowledge

    + Experience with Satellite Command and Control Systems
