    As a **Security Officer - Armed Patrol Logistics** in **Berkeley, MO** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine armed patrols, helping to deter security-related incidents, and remaining highly visible on site. You will engage with staff and visitors, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly to address concerns as they arise.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing proper communication and de-escalation skills.

    + Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

    + Monitor entrances, exits, and loading/unloading zones to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other security-related issues.

    + Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities encountered during patrols according to Allied Universal protocols.

    + Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, providing assistance and guidance as needed while maintaining a visible security-related presence.

    + Perform security-related inspections of equipment, gates, doors, and fences to verify they are secure and report any irregularities.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.

    + Armed Guard Card or License is required.

    + Baton Certification is preferred.

    + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
