Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences** is currently hiring **Medical Assistants** in **Webster, TX.
This is an **on-site opportunity.**

**Pay:** $22 to $ 24.34/hr
**Type:** Two Month contract with possibility of an extension and/or becoming fulltime
**Schedule:** Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Primary Responsibilities:
• Review doctor’s schedule, prepare charts, and request relevant information needed for each patient visit.
• Prepare and submit patient documents for scanning; monitor assigned in-baskets for overdue results and letters.
• Schedule appointments, assist with specialty referrals and radiology testing, and provide pre-printed patient education materials as directed by the provider.
• Follow HIPAA policies and ensure proper disposal of confidential information daily.
• Monitor and complete tasks associated with physician orders.
• Room patients upon arrival, obtain demographics, medical history, and chief complaint; verify allergies and record vital signs per policy.
• Reconcile medication lists and update preferred pharmacies at each visit.
• Document patient education, learning preferences, language needs, and interpreter requirements.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CMA certification preferred (will consider equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar clinical or administrative role.

**Pay Details:** $22.00 to $24.34 per hour
