Our client, a top-tier aerospace manufacturer is seeking skilled CNC VTL and Manual Lathe Machinists to join their 1st shift team and 2nd shift. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity offering competitive pay and excellent benefits.

Job Description-

• Experience in machining plasma coatings and K/E seals on rotating aircraft parts § Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of GD&T

• Familiar with Statistical Process Control (SPC)

• Willing to learn basic CNC Programming Is your expertise different from the above?

• Set-up and operate VTL or Lathe machines for pre-machining and finish machining for required operations or the repair of aircraft parts.

• Work from process traveler, blueprints, parts drawings, manuals, specifications, operations sheets and verbal directions to determine proper dimensions and tolerances of finished part, sequence of operations, and set-up requirements for machining functions

• Verify dimensions using standard measuring instruments, such as micrometers, depth gage, height gage, and vernier

• Work with engineering department regarding material conditions, best positioning of part, tool pressure, etc. as required

What You’ll Bring:

• 2-5 years of experience machining in an aerospace environment

+ Experience as an FAA Repairman or A&P Mechanic highly desirable

+ Proficiency with Fanuc controls and willingness to cross-train

+ Strong math skills and knowledge of GD&T

+ Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC)

+ Willingness to learn basic CNC programming

+ High school diploma or equivalent required

**Pay Details:** $52,000.00 to $728,000.00 per year
