    Adecco is seeking Manufacturing CNC Machinist 3s for exciting roles with Ametek in South Smithfield, UT. This is a great chance to gain valuable experience and grow your career in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Weekly pay starts at $24.00-$36.00 per hour, with multiple shifts available.

    Primary responsibilities for Manufacturing CNC Machinists include:

    In this role, you will set up and operate CNC and conventional machines to manufacture precise, complex parts. Responsibilities include troubleshooting programs, adjusting machining parameters, and interpreting blueprints to ensure quality and accuracy. Inspecting parts, training team members, collaborating with engineering, and helping maintain smooth production flow are also part of the job.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Troubleshoot and edit CNC programs

    • Adjust machining parameters to meet specifications

    • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings

    • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools

    • Complete required production and quality documentation

    • Train and support team members

    • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve issues

    • Manage multiple machine set-ups and operate several machines simultaneously

    • Perform routine preventive maintenance

    • Assist with production scheduling and lead team meetings

    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

    • Support assembly, inspection, tooling, and finishing tasks

    • Work overtime as needed to meet production demands

    • Operate across at least two machining fields or platforms

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or GED

    • 5+ years of CNC machining experience, including operating multiple machining fields or platforms and managing several machine set-ups simultaneously

    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T

    • Proficient in CNC programming and editing, including G and M codes

    • Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gages) and ensuring compliance with ISO and quality standards

    • Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills to collaborate with engineers and support team members

    • Ability to train, mentor, and lead team members (leadership skills preferred)

    • Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment

    Available Shifts:

    • 2nd shift: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM

    • 3rd shift: Tuesday to Friday, 9:30 PM – 7:30 AM

    **Pay Details:** $24.00 to $36.00 per hour
