Research Study Coordinator – Phlebotomist
**Location:** Newark, NJ
**Employer:** Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences (on behalf of client)
**Pay Rate:** $ 27.82/hour
**Schedule:** Part-time | 3 days per week | 24 hours total
Position Summary
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Research Study Coordinator – Phlebotomist for our client located in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will assist with clinical research studies, patient coordination, specimen collection, and compliance with study protocols. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a research team.
Key Responsibilities
+ Recruit and screen potential study participants by reviewing medical charts and contacting physicians.
+ Schedule patient appointments and explain study procedures and protocols.
+ Obtain informed consent and witness forms as appropriate.
+ Perform study-related procedures and collect specimens, including blood draws and vital signs.
+ Record and maintain patient data, medical histories, and study documentation.
+ Prepare, organize, and maintain study equipment, supplies, and regulatory documentation.
+ Ensure patient comfort, safety, and adherence to ethical research standards.
+ Enter data into research databases accurately and efficiently.
+ Coordinate research team activities and assist with proposal and regulatory submissions.
+ Maintain compliance with **HIPAA** , **ICH** , and **GCP** principles, as well as **Rutgers** and federal research policies.
+ Stay updated on all relevant laws, regulations, and institutional policies.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ Associate’s Degree in a related field plus 2 years of relevant experience required.
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related field with 1 year of research experience preferred.
+ Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
+ Knowledge of HIPAA, ICH, GCP, and applicable research regulations required.
+ Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
+ Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.
**Pay Details:** $27.82 per hour
