Job Title: Development Engineer - Seating

Job Description

Support the analysis and understanding of production and field issues, and implement engineering changes related to seating components.

Responsibilities

+ Correct Bill of Materials (BoM) issues and updates.

+ Analyze and find countermeasures for functional and electrical engineering issues.

+ Prepare and execute engineering changes, including issuing EC, KEM, and Smaragd updates.

+ Find part substitutions and short-term deviation solutions, and create and drive the PDR process.

+ Address topics related to fasteners.

+ Prepare documentation for meetings.

+ Perform miscellaneous tasks, such as writing PR/POs, as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in parts development and liaison engineering.

+ Expertise in supplier development and automotive seating.

+ Knowledge of VDA and engineering change processes.

+ Proficiency in project management and supplier quality.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Vance, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $50.00/hr.
