Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Electrical Engineer to join our team focused on the design and development of occupant sensing systems, known as PODS. This role involves full lifecycle development of compact embedded sensor systems, including circuit design, analysis, simulation, testing, and documentation.
Responsibilities
+ Design and develop embedded sensor circuits including microprocessor, power supply, and pressure sensor components.
+ Perform circuit analysis and simulation using tools such as Saber, Excel, Mathcad, or Maple.
+ Select components and define design characteristics for Electrical CAD operators to create multi-layer PCB designs.
+ Coordinate prototype builds and conduct testing to verify electrical and EMC performance.
+ Conduct DFMEA analysis and bench verification experiments.
+ Release production documentation including schematic capture, bill of materials, and assembly drawings.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, software, and manufacturing.
+ Ensure compliance with functional safety standards and customer specifications.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering.
+ 1+ years of experience in design/development.
+ Circuit design (analog) with schematic capture.
+ Circuit simulation/analysis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Automotive experience.
+ Knowledge of functional safety.
Work Environment
This position requires daily onsite presence, collaborating closely with one other Electrical Engineer. The work environment fosters innovation in automotive technology, contributing to the development of safer, greener, and more connected vehicles.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
